Who you'll be dealing with
A local shop, not a warehouse
Elite Defense Equipment is an authorized Byrna dealer based in Milton, serving Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. We stock the launchers, the ammunition, the armor and the carry gear — and we have a range so you can try any of it before you spend money on it.
If something goes wrong with a launcher you bought here, you call us and drive over. You don't open a support ticket.
Know before you buy
The legal picture, plainly
None of this is complicated, but it's better to read it now than to find out later.
Less-lethal, not non-lethal
Byrna products are designed to disarm, disable and deter without causing permanent injury or death — but no projectile weapon can guarantee an outcome. "Less-lethal" is the accurate term and the one Byrna uses. Treat every launcher accordingly.
Age & eligibility
You must be 18 or older to purchase. Note that in Delaware — along with Idaho, Illinois, New Jersey and Rhode Island — convicted felons are prohibited from owning a Byrna, even though it is not classified as a firearm.
Carry & travel
Legal in all 50 states and not classified as a firearm by the ATF, but municipalities can regulate CO₂-powered weapons and chemical irritants. Check your city's rules before carrying. Air travel means checked luggage only, and confirm CO₂ with the airline.
Shipping restrictions
Byrna products can't be shipped to New York City, Washington D.C. or San Francisco. Chemical rounds have additional state restrictions. Buying in person in Delaware avoids all of it — but know the rules for wherever you're taking it.

Too far to drive? We ship
We ship anywhere in the continental US. Call the shop first at (302) 339-9129 and talk it through with us — five minutes on the phone makes sure the launcher, the rounds and the carry gear you're ordering actually do what you need them to, and that all of it can legally ship to where you live. The restrictions above still apply.
